TRAFFIC NEXT WEEK

  • Sunday 28 February - Thursday 3 MarchSunday 21 February - Thursday 25 February - night closure of fulllane 1 only -southboundmotorwaymotorway between Hill Road and Takanini southbound offramp (Great South Road) through to Papakura southbound onramp (Beach Road). Interchange.

Night work on the motorway next week involves geotechnical investigations and surveyingand surveying along Great South Road as well as the installation of newof new sections of guardrail along the motorway shoulder which will help protect our team from the traffic.  traffic as they work.

Night closures are typically from 9pm at night to 5am in the morning.  RainDelays such as from rain or other delays mayprogress may mean that a closure is rescheduled to be undertaken over the next available work night.  This  would also affectnight. Detours will be in place that will take motorists along local roads, leading back to the next motorway interchange.   All detours will be clearly signposted and maps of the typical routes can be found on our website.  

Please allow extra time for your journeys at night.

Investigation work will continue during the daytime next week and some shoulder closures are anticipated, but these will not affect traffic movements.
